Bedok 5-room HDB flat sells for record S$1.54 million, first above S$1.5 million in the town

EdgeProp reports a 1,216 sq ft five-room flat at 152B Bedok South Road (Bedok South Horizon) sold for S$1.54 million, or S$1,266 psf, on 9 October. It beats the town’s previous record of S$1.48 million, set a day earlier in the same block.

IOI Properties Group in talks for secondary listing on SGX

The Edge Singapore reports IOI Properties Group CEO Lee Yeow Seng says the Bursa-listed group is in talks for a secondary listing on SGX, and has met SGX CEO Loh Boon Chye, who is “very open” to the idea. The group has a market capitalisation of about RM18.6 billion.

Starhill Global REIT sells Ebisu Fort, its last Japan property, for JPY6.2 billion

The Edge Singapore reports Starhill Global REIT sold Ebisu Fort for JPY6.2 billion (S$50.2 million), 53.8% above its 30 June valuation. The REIT says it no longer holds any property in Japan, and gearing should fall from 35.8% to 34.5%.
